About The Event
Help plant streamside native shrubs in the restoration wetland at Four Mile Run Park for improved habitat, ecosystem function, and aesthetic beauty. Hand tools and work gloves will be provided, though you may bring your own preferred planting tools if desired.
IMPORTANT NOTE: the planting area is along sloped, vegetated, and uneven terrain, with mud in the lower planting areas. Waders, boots, or sturdy shoes and long pants are strongly advised.
We will meet near the trail kiosk and playground across the park from the MOM’s Organic Market parking lot. If driving, please park at the edge of the parking lot closest to the park itself.
